	NETWORKING - INPUT - COOPERATION - SUPPORT - QUALITY OF LIFE		PfCONA was formed in 1985 by Pflugerville residents who wanted to provide a forum for neighborhood groups to collectively air their concerns and work with the City Council to resolve problems. Its goal was to bring the community together. This goal continues today. Won't you join us in "building the community together?"

The committee addresses the role in neighborhoods in identifying and addressing quality of life issues. The Pflugerville Council of Neighborhood Associations (PfCONA) has completed a process of reorganization during 2002. Bylaws have been updated, officers were elected in March 2002 and then again in January 2003, and this website and other materials were developed to communicate with neighborhood leaders and residents. Membership requirements were determined. OBJECTIVES 1. To support model programs for neighborhoods and provide support and expertise to assist neighborhood associations. 2. To establish networking systems with neighborhood organizations, civic organizations, churches, crime watch programs, interested individuals and other entities, that we may collaborate with efforts to maintain a desirable quality of life in the greater Pflugerville area. 3. To become active in promoting the principles of community policing and to incorporate the work of PfCONA with those efforts. 4. Bylaws are in the process of being updated and we are looking into expanding board and doing a leadership roundtable. 2002 Bylaw Final Draft Committee included Clay Leben, Rick Allgeyer (2002 PfCONA Chair), Rod Reyna (2002 PfCONA Vice Chair), and Van Kirby, Steeds Crossing subdivision representative.
