Pflugerville Council of Neighborhood Associations - PfCONA
PfCONA was formed in 1985 by residents who wanted a forum for neighborhood groups to collectively discuss their concerns and work together.
In 2012, PfCONA will meet monthly on the second Monday, 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Pflugerville Justice Center Courtroom unless otherwise announced. We also are planning an October Candidates Forum that may be at a different date and time.
PfCONA's vision is BUILDING COMMUMNITY TOGETHER.
The mission of the Pflugerville Council of Neighborhood Associations (PfCONA) is to serve as a medium to increase citizen input and involvement in area planning and policy formation, and to facilitate cooperation and communication between various governmental entities in and around the greater Pflugerville area. PfCONA addresses the role of neighborhoods in identifying and addressing quality of life issues for Pflugerville.
A great place to live is not an accident. Weeds grow in a garden too so its up to citizens to work and talk together about what they want their town to be. For 27 years, PfCONA has been a forum for discussion about challenges our neighborhoods have like safety, traffic, environment, zoning, growth, peace, and cooperation. In 2011 PfCONA program topics included a candidate forum, new state legislation about HOAs, choosing landscaping and safety vendors, disaster readiness and crime prevention, and the City Manager on the State of the City..
